Abrasive lap mops are made by stapling a number of discs of tex / scotch-brite material together.  Most lap mops are either 4″ or 6″ in diameter and commonly have 4, 5 or 6 laps

What are Abrasive Lap Mops Used for?

Because abrasive lap mops are constructed out of tex material they are most commonly used for blending and re-finishing satin polished stainless steel.

Which are the most popular lap mops?

The most common lap mop grades are:

• Very Fine or Fine A lap mops which will leave a 320 grit satin finish
• Medium A lap mops which are used to leave a 240 grit satin finish
