With a more flexible backing than the FX87 ceramic belts the Cibo FF87 P80 grit abrasive belt size 287 x 50mm are designed for initial finishing and removal of lighter surface damage and scratches from stainless steel whilst leaving a softer and brighter satin finish particularly when used on the FMRU/50W contact wheel.
We recommend the P80 ceramic belts when finishing to a high quality satin or mirror polished finish. FF87 belts can be used in wet or dry applications.
The grinding aids in the FF87 80 grit belts also make them particularly suited to higher aggression grinding of brass, copper and aluminium where a good quality finish is essential.
50mm wide belts are designed to fit on the FMRU/50W contact wheels which can be used on both the Finipower variable speed grinder or on the Cibo Finimaster satin polishers & drum sanders.
