Internal Tube Polishing Kits
Removing an internal weld on stainless steel tubes and pipes is essential in pharmaceutical and food processing where it is essential to ensure smooth fluid flow and ensure there is no possiblity for entrapment.
With the new Cibo Ceramics and abrasive stars we have created 4 distinct processes:
1. Removing weld discolouration only and leave a clean bright finish.
2. Removing the internal weld and finishing to a fine satin finish (P240 or P320 grit).
3. Removing the internal weld and finishing to a minimum 0.3Ra finish as demanded by many pharmaceutical processes.
4. Removing the internal weld and then mirror polishing the internal tube to leave a bright high reflection surface.
