FX87 80 grit 760 mm x 40 mm is our high performance, ceramic abrasive belt material with a waterproof backing, used for intermediate grinding.
760 x 40mm belts fit the Metabo and a number of other generic tube polishers. We recommend the 80 grit ceramic belts for removing scratches and damage in preparation for satin finishing.
Use the FX87 high performance belts where a little bit more work or light weld removal is needed.
Although popularly sold for use on high carbon steels, stainless steels and aerospace alloys, the cool cut grinding aids of FX87 also work exceptionally well when grinding aluminium and other non-ferrous metals.
40 x 760mm abrasive belts fit the following tube polishing machines: The Metabo RBE 15, Stahlwerk RS-800, MSW-POL900L, Stayer LT 1401 EK, Vevor 800 watt steel pipe tube polisher, Holzmann RSG760 and various pipe sander mounting kits commonly sold online.
