Abrasive spiral bands, or spirabands use an interlined cotton sleeve to create a strong and durable abrasive band designed for shaping in curves and radiuses.
If you need to do some aggressive metal removal on steel or stainless steel we strongly recommend using the new high performance ceramic spirabands.
For approximately 20% more the ceramic spiral sleeves will last 3 or 4 times as long and cut faster.
n.b. Spirabands will have significantly increased aggression over a flap wheel due to the higher pressure contact achieved.
