Grind aluminium with 75mm Socatt discs

If you need to grind aluminium with 75mm Socatt discs then we recommend working with the QLPP ceramic discs.

The Cibo Ceramics contain additional grinding aids to reduce the risk of the Socatt discs clogging up. We have offered 3 grit options but you can see the rest of the 75mm Socatt disc range here.

36 grit: Use the 36 grit discs if all you need to do is remove metal and finish is unimportant.

60 grit: 60 grit discs will still remove aluminium or brass very quickly but will leave a finish which is much easier to refine

80 grit: 80 grit discs will remove an aluminium mig weld in a controlled manner but leave a surface which could be painted over.
