Which product you use is a matter of choice. Many people make the decision here based on colour of the hand pads!! Technically we would recommend the Very Fine A maroon tex pads as they are a 320 grit blend of abrasive with a high grain density. In our experience it is the fastest product for removing weld colour by hand. But green 'scotch pads' are not a long way behind and if you prefer green - then go for it!!
