We know people do it all the time but we only recommend the 1mm cutting discs for use on thin wall applications ( <2mm). Why? 1. Safety: They are not designed for heavier cutting applications and are more prone to shattering. 2. Durability: They will cut quickly but thin discs will also wear out very quickly which makes them less cost-effective.
