Fast cut rate, cool cutting and long life. FX sanding discs contain a high performance ceramic abrasive with a complex grinding aid coating which reduces the risk of the disc clogging up when grinding aluminium and other non-ferrous metals.
We have included a 60 grit and an 80 grit option but unless the material removal requirement is lower we normally recommend using a 60 grit disc on a 7" grinder.
We strongly recommend you also use the FIH back up pad with these discs as not only do they increase control they also improve the lifetime of the discs and reduce the heat generated during the grinding process.
