If you want to use an angle grinder to distress timber then we are assuming you are covering quite a large area a d it is a large piece of timber! In this scenario the CSG stripping discs will do a great job. If you are after a softer effect and can use a variable speed grinder or sander polisher running slower than 4000 rpm then the FMTM wheel will run down the grain and tame away softwood very nicely.
