Mechanically removing weld discolouration will cause a change in the surface finish of the stainless steel leaving a brighter finish. We have assumed that a high quality satin finish will be the most common option for this solution. We have therefore chosen:
- Fine grade of Tex / scotchbrite flap wheels and
- SA 5 unitised which will remove the weld discolouration easily and quickly and leave a fine / soft satin finish.
