Need to grind steel mig weld fillets and shape the profile? Grinding into a fillet weld can be a problem. Traditional flap disc wear out very quickly leaving an expensive disc which is no use. Cibo developed the FOV ceramic flap discs to solve this problem. The backing plate for the flap disc is shorter allowing for a flexible edge to be created on the flap disc. The flexible edge allows you to shape and control the grinding into the radius but it also increases the amount of abrasive you can use.
