Internal Tube Kit - Weld Removal & Finish - 100mm Diameter

The range of tube polishing kits allow you remove weld discolouration right through to removing a weld and applying a high quality mirror finish on stainless steel tubes and pipes.

The 100mm Internal Tube Kit for weld removal and applying a 240 – 320 grit finish contains:

2x 60 Grit Ceramic Flap Wheel – To remove initial weld
1 x 80 Grit Ceramic Flap Wheel – To refine initial weld
2x 120 Grit Ceramic Flap Wheel – To refine 60 grit sanding lines
The flap wheels are 40 x 20 x 6mm
5x High Strength Abrasive Stars – Medium grade for 240 grit finish
5x High Strength Abrasive Stars – Very fine grade for 320 grit finish

Also includes the correct mandrel (MH/S2) for the abrasive stars.

Use the 60 grit ceramic flap wheel to remove the weld. Ensure that any undercut from the weld has been removed and that the final finish is consistent around the inside of your tube/pipe. : Refine the sanding lines using the 120 grit ceramic flap wheel. Check that the finish is consistent before refining the finish with the medium (P240 finish) and if required the very fine (P320 finish) stars. :
