125mm diameter A45 grade 3M Trizact 237EA grip / velcro discs with the ‘pop-out’ centre fit on the Cibo 125VEL/VZ which was designed specifically to ensure cool cutting and a long lifetime for the Trizact discs.
A45 237GR Trizact finishing discs will refine and blend The Trizact A100 or A65 sanding lines easily and more effectively than traditional abrasives without the risk of undercuttting to leave a 400 grit finish.
Please note: Trizact grip discs do not like operating at high speed. To be effective we recommend the Cibo Finipower Plus variable speed grinders operating at a maximum of 7,200rpm
Use the 125mm velcro discs as a faster and more cost effective option than the traditional sanding discs where the risk of undercutting the weld is critical. 237GR 125mm discs are particularly good for sanding fine limit sheet metal with thin wall stainless steel tig weld removal.
Suggested process for stainless tig weld removal:
1. Tig weld removal FX87GR P100 S133
2. Blend sanding lines 237GR A160 S133
3. Refine sanding line 237GR A65 S133
4. Detail finish 237GR A45 S133
– To leave a P400 grit finish which will brush easily with the Cibo FMTM or FMCM tex brushes.
n.b. The Trizact A45 is particularly useful when finish is critical which is why the are supplied in the Cibo Time Saving Kits.
