FF87 80 grit 940 mm x 50 mm wave belt is a our high performance, ceramic abrasive belt material with a waterproof backing.
F weight is more flexible than the FX87 material.
We recommend FF87 where high pressure / high volume stock removal is required on stainless steel, steel and aerospace alloys.
Use for intermediate grinding.
FF87 performs particularly well on wide belt sanders for graining stainless steel, on backstand grinders for stainless steel and high pressure steel applications and also on the Garboli through-feed tube grinders and polishers.
940 x 50mm wave edge belts are ideal for use on the Garboli orbital tube polisher when working on tight curves. The wave edge prevents chattering on the bends and ensures a consistent finish.
