4 1/2″ sanding discs are the most common fibre disc for use on angle grinders in the UK. We stock 6 different grades of fibre discs:
- Actirox: If you want stock removal like you have never seen before then the Actirox is the product you need. AF799 Actirox is recommended for steel. The AF890 is recommended for stainless steel.
- FX Ceramic: Our most popular performance sanding disc. With a ceramic abrasive grain and a top coat of grinding aids gives super fast performance and a great finish on steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
- K3K Zirconia: Recommended for general fabrication work. Our K3K premium zirconia fibre disc gives excellent price v performance.
- KFK Aluminium Oxide: Our most competitively priced disc. Liked by metal polishers who need the soft edge of the aluminium oxide grain. Also liked by furniture frame builders where a general purpose disc will remove timber quickly for a minimum cost.
