If you are able to optimise the process then there is no doubt that the Finipower variable speed grinders will improve the quality of finish, reduce net costs and the time required to create a satin finish on stainless steel butt welds. But, with care, you can still do it at 11,000rpm.
Using a standard angle grinder we recommend you use the coarse Rapid Combi Disc which will improve the speed of cut. Work at a low grinding pressure to keep the heat out of the work-piece as much as possible and extend the disc life.
