A little about Garboli

Garboli have thirty years of experience specialising in the design and production of metal polishing, satin finishing, buffing and mirror finishing machines. Quality is their top target. From the rough materials used to the adopted production processes meaning they provide fault-free machines.

The Technology

Inside the Rotor 200 is a rotational hub which allows the deburring brush to to turn on 2 axis at once. The brush head spins towards the workpiece whilst at the same time spinning on a separate axis at 90 degrees. This allows full access to clean both the inside and outside of your tubes and ends.

There are two different wire options. Crimped stainless steel (for all your stainless steal work) and a crimped steel wire (for everything else).

Variable speed allows you to cater the machine to the specific needs of different metals. For example, a slower speed for your non-ferrous and stainless steel metals.

The Process

The two main variables to change when using the Rotor 200 are speed and the size of the hole allowing for safety of the user. As previously mentioned, speed is best for your harder metals, slower for softer.

When using the machine simply create a gap large enough to fit your metal into and push against the wire for a couple of seconds.

What can I use this with?

The Rotor 200 is suitable for deburring round and oval tube ends, square or rectangular tubing, irregular shaped profiles. Suitable materials include stainless steel, steel, aluminium, brass as well as composites, plastic materials with a diameter of 210mm.

Pure Facts

Box Component Dimensions:

  • Height: 10 to 150mm
  • Width: 10 to 150mm

Tube Component Dimensions:

  • Diameter: 10 to 210mm

Rotation Speed:

  • Single: 1220 rpm
  • Dual: 1220 and 2400 rpm
  • Variable: 500 to 2000 rpm

The Outcome

The images below show aluminium rainwater and drain profiles deburred on the Rotor 200. With the correct speed and brush the Rotor 200 will create a smooth profile ready for painting or powder coating.
