Orbital mirror polishing machine for straight and bent tube.  Max tube diameter 46mm.

The LPC160 MIRROR machine uses abrasive belts for tube sanding and pre-polishing the tube, followed by non-abrasive or felt belts to create a bright polished finish.  Liquid polish is sprayed directly to the belts via a controllable spray nozzle.  This process creates a high quality mirror polished finish.

The Garboli LPC160 MIRROR tube polishing machine is a recent innovation of the most popular tube and pipe polisher for architectural and plumbing fixtures.  The LPC160 MIRROR can polish straight and bent tube with equal simplicity. 

The heart of the LPC160 MIRROR is a powerful rotating disc through which the tube or round bar is passed. Mounted onto the disc is a pair of polishing belts powered by a separate motor.  The polishing belts can be adjusted to suit varying tube diameters.  When the polishing belt motor starts the belts close in on the workpiece.  This simple construct allows for the tube to be moved in any direction and at any speed through the Garboli LPC160 MIRROR machine.  By increasing or decreasing the rate of polish onto the tube you can create the ideal conditions for a consistent mirror bright polish finish. 

Options for the Garboli LPC160 MIRROR polishing machine:

– Variable speed control comes as standard

–  Fully manual feed.  Ideal for one off and complex shape sanding 

–  ADN Through feed. Powered feed rollers which can operate with tube from 10mm to 46mm in diameter. The ADN roller systems can be moved to the side for bent tube sanding and polishing

–  Multi pass feed options. Siemens control systems to allow for complex multi-pass processing if required.

–  Fully automatic feed and tube capture systems are strongly recommended for polishing straight tubes.  

–  Varying tube thickness. Garboli can supply self-centering tube polishing system on the LPC160 MIRROR allowing for the feeding of tube of varying diameter through the polishing head

–  Bespoke build.  Garboli can make many options from fully automatic feed in and loading tables to simple through feed roller options.  

–  Wave edge or straight edge abrasive belt construction to ensure the perfect finish every time

- Minimum bend radius for a 90 degree bend = 1.5 x tube diameter

- Minimum bend radius for a 180 degree bend = 80mm

-  Minimum tube diameter = 5mm
- Maximum tube diameter = 46mm

Note: The minimum bend radius varies dependent on the overall angle of the bend

Please note: The LPC160 MIRROR can also be used with abrasive belts to prepare the tube surface for final mirror polishing but it is important that no abrasive grit is allowed to contaminate the polishing belts.
