FX87 in 60 grit 533mm x 9 mm is our high performance ceramic abrasive powerfile belt material with a waterproof backing used for intermediate grinding.
FX87 performs particularly well on powerfile belt applications which work on close point grinding. Although popularly sold for use on high carbon steels, stainless steels and aerospace alloys, the cool cut grinding aids of FX87 also work exceptionally well when grinding aluminium and other non-ferrous metals.
The 60 grit ceramic belts are excellent for grinding out mig welds and shaping
