If you cannot use the FinitEasy to mirror polish stainless steel tube fillet welds then the next best option is using belts on an abrasive powerfile such as the Beltit or Dynafile 2.
The powerfile process takes more time but it can be done well with care. Below we have detailed the steps required and in the correct sequence. If you can control the speed then you will find it much easier to work more slowly in the earlier steps and then gradually increase the speed of the machine as the finish gets finer.
We have assumed you will need to remove a tig weld. In which case the coarsest belt you will need is the FX87 P80 grit but if you can omit this stage and begin with the A160 or even the A65 Trizact belts then it is a good idea to do so. (full range of 457mm belts here)
