Finimaster Drum Sander
Finimaster Pro: The premium satin finishing and polishing tool drives all the wheels mops and belts directly off the M14 thread. Wheels and tyres for this machine are 120mm in diameter and the handle is designed to be flexible in operation allowing you to follow curves very easily. Which means you get:
Fast high quality finishing, a wide footprint, no chatter marking, great workpiece visibility on tubes and curved surfaces along with the ability to go right up to the edges.
Finimaster Basic: The Finimaster basic uses the more traditional 4" diameter wheels with a 19mm keyway fixing. We supply it as a standard with an inflatable tyre but a solid rubber belt drive wheel is also available.
Both machines are available on their own or with an extensive range of brushes, finishing and abrasive wheels, as well as grinding and polishing belts available ex-stock.

Finimaster Drum Sander FAQs
Why does going to a 120mm diameter on a satin polishing machine make such a difference?
It is all about the footprint. With a 100mm diameter wheel or belt the contact at the bottom of the wheel is significantly less which can cause chatter marks in the final finish. With the Finimaster Pro the wider footprint on the abrasive sleeves and wheels it is much easier to obtain a consistent and chatter free finish.
What is the difference between the Finimaster Basic and Finimaster Pro?
This short video shows the difference between the Finimaster Basic & Pro.
How much longer will a Wheel last on the Finimaster Pro than a standard drum sander?
There is more than twice as much material in a Finimaster Pro wheel (220% to be precise) so obviously it is going to last more than twice as long.
Can I finish tubes and handrails with a drum sander?
Both the Finimaster satin polishing machines have an option for a tube polishing head which uses the tex conditioning belts to put a satin finish on tubes.
