All About the Cibo Finimaster Keyway Burnisher

Introducing the Cibo Finimaster Keyway burnisher machine. After listening to our customers we can bring the next generation keyway hand held drum sander.

All the advantages of traditional keyway burnishing machines with additional technology developed on our Finimaster Pro machine including a new flexible hood & handle to increase flexibility on curved surfaces and for tube polishing.

What Can the Finimaster Keyway Burnisher Do?

• Sheet graining with abrasives sleeves on tyres, rubber wheels or Tex and combination brushes
• Tube polishing with the FMGRT grip belts and the tube belt drive wheel
• Mirror polishing with sisal and airflow polishing mops
• Satin polishing with FMTA Tex brushes

We always the keyway burnisher machines with a 100mm inflatable wheel when working with abrasive sleeves. On request there is also the option of using the FMRU ventilated rubber wheels.

FMUR ventilated rubber wheels will give a higher aggression for the abrasive sleeves but it will also leave chatter marks in the final grain finish.

The FMNU374 inflatable wheel allows for much more control and with the right Cibo ceramic abrasive sleeves you will have as much aggression as you need.

– Scale Removal on Stainless Steel

With a 1700 watt motor and all the torque you could every need the Cibo Finimaster burnisher is easily capable of removing scale on stainless steel angle with the FX87 ceramic abrasive sleeves.

Use the Cibo FX87 40 grit 293 x 100mm sleeves to achieve the finish shown in this video.

– Tube Sanding and Polishing

With the new flexible handle the Finimaster keyway can be operated on tube polishing like the Finimaster Pro. Release the Key lock on the hood to allow the head to move and then roll around the tube with the grip sanding and polishing belts.

Abrasive grip belts are available from 40 grit up to felt polishing belts. Our most popular belts are the FMGRT Tex grip belts for satin finishing stainless tube.

– Unique Velcro Belt Fixing System

One of the key benefits of the Finimaster Pro kit is it’s flexibility. Included with the Set 2 is a drive wheel for running the velcro belt system. Ideal for sanding tubes.

The abrasive and tex belts are bonded to a velcro fixing system allowing the belts to be run ‘inside out’. Using the flexible hood on the Finimaster the operator can then cover a full 360 degrees around the tube.

– Only Need to Finishing Box Section or Angle?

Consider the option of the Cibo Finipower + variable speed grinder and the 50mm wide finishing wheels.

• Ginger Ninja – 60 grit ceramic cloth combined with a medium grade tex material. The Ginger Ninja will remove 80 grit sanding marks and even some scale on stainless steel to leave a clean grain finish.
• FMTM – Tex brushes. Ideal for brush finishing
• FMCM – Combi brushes. Also used for fine grain finishing. Use when working near edges
• Polishing wheels – Use the FLM wheel with polishing compound
