Consider using a cutting tool. When drilling different metals it is standard practice to change the drill speed to ensure effective use of the drill. Abrasives are no different. If you want the right performance and optimum lifetime from your abrasive when working on stainless steel and non ferrous metals then you need to be able to vary your machine speed. Most abrasive manufacturers will put the maximum safe operating speed on a disc, what you need to know is the recommended operating speed. Recommended operating speeds are often half the maximum. But operating at the recommended speed is no use if the machine has no torque.
The Finipower variable speed angle grinders allows you to control the speed.
Reducing the grinder speed will:
They are versatile machines which can be used for grinding, satin finishing and mirror polishing various materials with a range of attachments.
The Finipower variable speed grinders have an M14 2.0 pitch thread. So the short answer is, ‘almost anything’. With a range of different fittings you can cut, grind, finish and polish with your Finipower.
Safety Note
We recommend a maximum wheel width of 50mm for sanding and finishing wheels and brushes. User a wheel wider than 50mm can damage the gear head and bearings.
Hints & Tips

2. To prevent any shaft fixed onto the grinder from binding to the metal face of the grinder shaft we recommend that whenever possible you keep the disc backing flange on the machine when attaching any mandrels or other wheels.
